Day one was the welcome and the first of the Super Satellites for the Main Event.
With over 120 players lining up for the $220 buy in event with unlimited rebuys for the first 3 levels and an add on at the break there promised to be a race for the tickets.
There were 9 tickets plus $200 each up for grabs as the cash was counted after the break and the 10th place finisher got $2,030 in cash for making the final table. So all anyone had to do was make the FT to get a return on their investment.
The Super Satellite started at 10pm and by the time I left at 4.45am they were down to the final 15, here's how they looked at that stage.
